About Blue Maggie

Blue Maggie is a Classic Rock / Americana band, that performs and records Americana and Bluegrass Music in Palm Bay, Florida, ready to provide your venue with a mixture of high energy rock and americana music that entertains all ages.

Current members are Richard Patrick on vocals and bass, Cheryl Patrick on vocals, JP Gauthier on vocals and guitar, and Scott Mulder on drums.

With it's roots in Kentucky style Bluegrass, Blue Maggie started out a duo of Richard on upright bass and vocals and Cheryl on vocals and mandolin, later teaming up with Stephenson Paige to record their first CD, "Heart for the Hills", at River Tracks Studio, and after Stephenson's untimely passing, Brent Stapleton joined up with Blue Maggie on banjo, guitar and vocals and was with Blue Maggie on the following three CD's: "The Nearest Way", " Radio Blue", and "Thy Will ", which can all be heard and dowloaded on Spotify, Amazon Music, CDBaby, and more.
Blue Maggie played venues in West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia, before relocating to Florida.
Blue Maggie was dubbed West Virginia's "biggest-little bluegrass band", and enjoyed National and International radio play.
Their second CD "The Nearest Way" was featured on World Wide Bluegrass, in Australia, with Geoff Morris.
"Cigarettes and Black Coffee" was played by Wichita Rutherford on XM and Sirius Satelite Radio, kicking off his series featuring unsigned bands.
